The Nottingham PostNewspaper is reporting that Ireland striker and Tipp native Shane Long is a transfer target for Nottingham Forest. Club Owner Fawaz Al Hasawi is reportedly willing to meet the players wage demands in order to sign a striker that could help their promotion push. Long has yet to agree a new contract at West Brom but the departure of Head coach Steve Clarke has left his position uncertain.
