The men's sixth and seventh seeds are through to the fourth round - Andy Murray and Tomas Berdych were straight sets winners over Joao Sousa and Viktor Troicki. Women's third seed Simona Halep is through to round 4 after she beat Betanie Mattek-Sands in straight sets. Seventh seed Eugenie Bouchard also reached round four with ease, beating Caroline Gacia 7-5, 6-love.
