Jose Mourinho has described Eusebio as an immortal following the death of the former Portugal and Benfica forward at the age of 71. He scored 733 goals in 745 games and was named European Footballer of the year in 1965. He won 64 caps and scored 41 goals for the national team and reached the semi-finals of the 1966 World Cup. Cristiano Ronaldo has paid tribute to his fellow countryman on Twitter, posting a photo of the pair of them saying: ' Always Eternal Eusebio, rest in peace'.
