tipp's seamus callanan's red card upheld
The GAA's Central Hearings committee has clarified why they have upheld Tipperary forward Seamus Callanan's straight red card from Sundays Allianz Hurling league quarter final. Callanan was sent off following an off the ball incident with an Offaly defender but the C.H.C says the evidence provided by Tipperary "was not sufficiently compelling to rebut the referee's report " As it stands Callanan will miss the Premier's semi final against Waterford in Nowlan park on April 19th.
