two ghana players sent home from the world cup
Ghana have sent midfielders Sulley Muntari and Kevin Prince-Boateng home from the World Cup and have suspended them from the national team indefinitely. The pair won't feature in this evening's Group G match against Portugal after a turbulent week in the Ghana camp, which has been divided over a row about player bonuses. Muntari has been accused by the Ghanian Football Association of attacking one of their executive members and a coach during a team meeting on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Boateng allegedly insulted their head coach in training this week and has refused to apologise.
