The number of homes changing hands has decreased by almost a fifth in the first quarter of this year.
An analysis by the Property Price Register show the number of transactions down by over thirty per cent in some counties. The number of houses for sale in County Wexford has dropped by 11.5 per cent in the past three months. The news as come as figures show twenty five thousand new homes are needed each year to keep pace with demand.
