It has emerged a thirteen year old boy was found in the boot of a car at Rosslare Port on Saturday.
The boy arrived on the ferry from France and the new car was part of a container of cars being transported into the country. His care has been taken over by the HSE and was he put into a foster home yesterday. The news was revealed on South East Radios Morning Mix by Chief Superintendent John Roche as he discussed the circumstances surrounding fourteen stowaways who arrived in a container at the port yesterday. John Roche says the twelve men and two women were traumatised when they emerged from the refrigerated container of apples.
