2.2 Million Euro Worth Of Fireworks Seized At Rosslare Europort

More than one point one million fireworks worth over 2.2 million euro have been seized at Rosslare Europort.

Revenue officers discovered the consignment in a trailer which arrived on a ferry from France on Sunday.

The fireworks, branded Black Cat Bangers, were seized along with the trailer.

A man in his 50s was questioned in connection with the discovery, and investigations are ongoing.
