2.5 million euro in water grants claimed in co. wexford
County Wexford householders have claimed just over 2.5 million euro under the Water Conservation Grant Scheme. The 100 euro grant was paid to householders last autumn and a total of 25,621 households in the county have availed of the grant. Nationally only slightly more than half of those eligible have claimed the money. The scheme is administered by the Department of Social Protection and to date over 94 million euro has been paid to householders across the country.
