2,500 workers from County Wexford are now commuting daily to Dublin to work.
That's according to the latest commuting figures from the CSO. A further 1,150 from County Wexford have a daily commute to Waterford. According to the latest figures 60% of the Wexford workforce now spend an average of 30 minutes in their cars for each commute. This is at a time where the last remaining rail service for the county outside of Gorey is under threat.
