Status Yellow Rain Warning Issued for Wexford Tonight

A Status Yellow rain warning has been issued for County Wexford tonight.

Met Éireann says spells of heavy rain are expected, with the warning also covering County Wicklow.

The warning comes into effect at 9pm this evening, Tuesday, September 29th, and will remain in place until 4am on Wednesday morning.

Possible impacts include localised flooding, difficult travelling conditions and poor visibility.

Motorists are being advised to take extra care on the roads during the warning period, particularly in areas prone to surface water and flooding.

The warning was issued by Met Éireann at 10.34am today.
