30 new home care jobs to be created in County Wexford

Home care provider Dovida is creating 30 new caregiver roles across County Wexford as part of a new recruitment campaign.

The company says the positions are being introduced to help support more people to live independently in their own homes while remaining connected to family, friends and their local communities.

The new roles will include both flexible and fixed-hour positions, with full-time hours also available.

Martin Murphy, General Manager of Dovida Wexford, says the flexibility of the work can appeal to people returning to employment, parents with children in school and those balancing work with study or other commitments.

Dovida currently employs more than 4,000 caregivers nationwide and provides a range of home care and support services.

The company says its caregivers not only provide practical support, but also companionship and regular social contact for people who may otherwise spend long periods alone.

Dovida is also hosting a recruitment coffee morning at its Clonard Village headquarters in Wexford on Thursday, September 10, where people interested in the roles can find out more about working in home care and get assistance with the application process.
