5 intoxicated drivers arrested in Wexford in 3 days

Wexford Gardai have revealed that they have arrested 5 intoxicated drivers in the past three days It comes as they continue with their Christmas Road Safety Campaig Under the national road safety campaign by An Garda Síochána together with Road Safety Authority Gardaí are out day and night to detect intoxicated driving They hope to deter other high risk behaviours such as speeding, mobile phone use while driving and not wearing seat belts. They continue to urge people to plan ahead when socialising & to use a taxi, public transport or arrange a sober driver Ther Christmas Road Safety Campaign continues until 5th of January 2026.
