Labour Leader Brendan Howlin has highlighted a potential six year wait for neurology treatment at Saint Vincent's University Hospital in Dublin.
Deputy Howlin read a letter to the Dail yesterday from a Wexford constituent offering the man an appointment at the neurology department for New Years day 2024. The man was delighted when he got the letter of appointment, but was shocked when he read the date. Taoiseach Leo Varadkar responded by suggesting the the proposed date for January 2024 was possibly an error.
