60% of social care workers assaulted while working

Concerns are being raised about the level of physical assaults on social care workers.

A study by Social Care Ireland shows 90 percent of those surveyed have experienced violence in the workplace. 60 per cent claim their employer sees violence as an acceptable part of the job.
