70% rise in homeless children in wexford is 'disturbing' - focus ireland

Latest homeless figures show that the number of children without a home in Wexford is up 70%.

Focus Ireland say these figures are extremely 'disturbing'. The Department of Housing released the figures for July yesterday which showed 9,891 people were accessing emergency accommodation nationwide. Mike Allen from Focus Ireland spoke on the Morning Mix today and says more has to be done to keep children safe and off the streets.
