Following on from the government's announcement of capital investment to address housing problems yesterday - two properties or 9 units in County Wexford are to be acquired. It's expected the units for the elderly and disabled will cost 285,000 euro. 7 will be acquired at Westlands for the elderly by the Respond Housing Association. While 2 units are expected to be opened by Camphill Communities in Ballymoney in Gorey for those with disabilities. But there's been no allocation for properties for people or families in the county who are currently homeless or who are facing losing their home.
