There are growing concerns that Wexford County Council is putting off the problem of homelessness by spending more on emergency accomodation. Figures released today show that there were 492 homeless cases recorded in Co Wexford last month. That's down from 538 cases in December of last year. Wexford County Council placed 109 people in emergency B&B accomadotion with the average person spending 39 days in their care.
