Action is urged for the magdalene survivors
On the anniversary of the Taoiseach's apology to the Wexford survivors of the Magdalene laundries, the government is under pressure to honour its promises to the women. The National Women's Council says it's being contacted by survivors who have yet to receive a penny in redress from the State. Director of the Women's Council Orla O'Connor says the Magdalene women have waited long enough.
