The National Bravery awards were presented this afternoon at Farmleigh in Dublin.
The actions of the recipients saved dozens of lives over the past year. The Kilmore Quay Lifeboat crew received an award for saving nine of the ten crew of an overturned boat off the Co.Wexford coast.
