The decision to build almost a thousand social housing units at Dublin's Poolbeg development has been labelled a 'victory for responsible politics'.
Changes agreed by the City Council last night mean a quarter of the 3-and-a-half thousand homes will be designated as social and affordable. Usually the rule is only 10 percent but last night they voted to increase that number. Fianna Fáil Councillor Frank Kennedy says the move was well planned.
