Almost 50 co. wexford schools awarded green flags

48 schools from County Wexford were awarded Green Flags by An Taisce at a ceremony today. By the end of this month the number of Irish schools flying the internationally recognised Green Flag will exceed 3,000 as over 1,100 schools attend Green-Schools Award ceremonies. The programme is celebrating its 20th anniversary internationally with schools from 58 countries from around the globe now taking part in the programme.
