Approval for 24 heritage projects across county wexford

161-thousand euro in funding has been allocated for the County by the Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht Jimmy Deenihan. The projects will allow for a range of conservation works to take place at protected buildings and will generate and support employment in the conservation and construction industries. The announcement is part of a national 5 million euro taxpayer investment in 618 historic structures with public funds to be matched by private funding.
