At least 9 dead following german train crash
At least 9 people are now known to have died when two trains collided head-on in southern Germany. Hundreds of rescuers and around a dozen helicopters have been working at the scene, around 40 miles southeast of Munich. 15 passengers are said to have been very seriously hurt - but dozens more were also injured. The trains both partially derailed and are wedged into each other.
