Buy one get one free could be scrapped to reduce waste

Efforts to reduce food waste could mean the end of Buy One Get One Free offers.

Retailers are meeting this morning as part of a new Action Group - to examine waste reduction measures that have been successful in other parts of Europe. The Minister for Climate Change and Environment he's confident retailers will sign up to a new charter, as it'll also suit them. Denis Naughten says households need to be educated on buying less too.
