A career guidance expert in Co. Wexford says he expects colleges to register new students during the first week of October.

Seamus Whitney made his comments after it was confirmed the Leaving Certificate results would be published on the 2nd of September this year - about three weeks later than normal. The Union of Students in Ireland has warned this delay could present a number of challenges for students.
