Cause of longford plane crash under investigation
The Gardaí and the Aviation Authority are conducting separate investigations into a fatal plane crash in Longford yesterday. A man in his 40s was killed when his single-seater aircraft came down at around 6pm at the Abbeyshrule Aerodrome, off the N55 Athlone Road.
