Celebration for john browne to take place in enniscorthy

A function to celebrate the contribution of former Wexford Fianna Fail TD John Browne to politics is being held in Enniscorthy on Thursday night

Having been preceded by his uncle Sean and succeeded by his son James, the Browne family have an unbroken record in Dail Eireann going back to the 1950s. John himself contested 8 general elections and was voted in each time. Fianna Fail leader Michael Martin will be one of those paying tribute to John on the night. The event will take place at the Riverside Park Hotel on Thursday.
