Center parcs says longford development will create 1,000 jobs
Almost 2,000 jobs have been announced for County Longford. UK holiday resort company Center Parcs says 1,000 jobs will be created at a development in Ballymahon with another 750 in construction. The development will include hundreds of log cabins, retail outlets, a swimming pool, restaurants, spas and both indoor and outdoor adventure centres. The investment is worth up to 200 million euro and would contribute 32 million a year to the Irish economy.
