Charges dropped in omagh bombing case
Charges are being dropped against the last remaining suspect in the Omagh bombing. Seamus Daly had faced 29 murder charges over the explosion in August 1998. It was the deadliest single atrocity of the northern troubles. No-one has ever been convicted of the murders. The decision to drop the charges was on the basis of insufficient evidence.
