Childcare providers uncertain funding will secure their businesses

The Federation of Early Childhood Providers expects hundreds to close if a fee freeze is introduced.

Creches and minders will be able to access 221 million euro in core funding in September, if the agree to fixing their rates. Representative bodies say they need more clarity on how the funding will be managed before they can agree to it.
