Childcare sector in crisis

Only 3 in 10 childcare providers have reopened since COVID-19 restrictions were needed.

That's according to a survey by the Federation of Early Childhood Providers, which says the sector is at 'crisis point'. Only 22 percent of the 868 providers surveyed believed the Department of Children was helpful.
