Children as young as ten are being introduced to gambling

An Oireachas Committee has heard children are being introduced to gambling before the age of ten.

Politicians are discussing how to better control and regulate the industry in Ireland. Experts have said online gaming is introducing children to the concepts of gambling from an early age. Dr Crystal Fulton from UCD says their study of recovering gambling addicts suggests early intervention is important.
