China welcomes perceived progress in korea talks

China has welcomed what appears to be progress in talks between North and South Korea.

North Korea has agreed to attend the Winter Olympics in the South next month. Both sides also said they'd resolve problems through dialogue and revive military consultations to avoid accidental conflict.
