Cigarette seizure at rosslare europort sees one man arrested

Over 34,000 cigarettes were seized at Rosslare Europort yesterday. They were discovered through routine profiling, concealed in the floor of a Lithuanian registered car. A 24 year-old Lithuanian man was arrested and charged and brought before a sitting of Gorey District Court. He has been remanded in custody to appear before a sitting of Wexford District Court on Monday.
