Co. wexford receives cut in funding for road maintenance
County Wexford's funding allocation for the upkeep and maintenance of non-national roads has been cut by over a quarter of a million euro for this year. It's going to leave a huge hole in the finaces for works already earmarked to be carried out. That's according to the chairman of Wexford County Council Malcolm Byrne. He says some works will have to be deferred because of the unexpected cut.
