There's been an increase in the number of people on the Live register in County Wexford. The final month of last year recorded an increase of 1.2 per cent or 206 people on the live register in County Wexford when compared with November 2014 according to the Central Statistics Office. However there's been a yearly decrease of 6.4 per cent. There are currently 16,197 people on the live register in County Wexford. Nationally unemployment figures fell by over 3,000 during the final month of 2014, reducing the seasonally adjusted total to over 360,000. The CSO says the standardised unemployment rate eased in December to 10.6 per cent, down from 10.7 per cent in November.
