Crossabeg Ballymurn Community Auction taking place this Sunday

A community auction in aid of Crossabeg Ballymurn GAA, Camogie Association and LGFA will take place this Sunday, September 27th.

The Crossabeg Ballymurn Community Auction gets underway at 12 noon at Crossabeg Community Centre.

One of the organisers Gary Quinn of DNG McCormack Quinn says there will be a wide range of items available, including fodder and straw, farm equipment, cars and vans, lawnmowers and household goods.

Among the items going under the hammer is a 1961 three-cylinder Massey Ferguson 35 tractor.There will also be a selection of vouchers, including golf vouchers, as well as a number of other items.

Gary says it is intended to be a community event with something for everyone.He is also appealing to people in the local area who may have items at home or in the garage that they no longer use but which are still in good condition.

Donations can be dropped in on Friday evening between 6pm and 7.30pm, or on Saturday from 10am until 2pm.

The auction is free to attend, with items available to bid on individually.The event is part of fundraising efforts involving the Crossabeg Ballymurn clubs and the wider community.
