"Decent" Social Welfare Increases in Budget 2017

The Social Protection Minister says there will be "an adequate and decent" welfare package announced in next Tuesday's budget.

But it's unclear if Leo Varadkar will be able to deliver on all the demands in the area. He says he wants to extend welfare benefits to 350,000 self employed people, but Fianna Fáil's demanding an extra five euro a week for old age pensioners.
