Drivers are being asked to avoid the N30 near Clonroche this afternoon as Gardai investigate a serious crash in the area.
Shortly after 2:40pm, Gardaí in Wexford and local emergency services responded to a serious collision close to the Beechdale Garden Centre in Ballymackessy.
Diversions are currently in place.
Gardai say no further information is available at this time and additional updates will be provided in due course.
Local councillor Bridin Murphy was at the scene this afternoon.
"It happened just outside my homeplace on the N30. It was a head on collision, one car travelling from Clonroche and the other from Enniscorthy.
"My thoughts are with both families of the people that were involved in the crash."
