Donate Your Unwanted Christmas Gifts to Barnardos Wexford Shop

As the Christmas season winds down many of us find ourselves with unwanted Christmas gifts gathering dust on shelves. Instead of letting them go to waste why not turn them into something meaningful by donating them to the Barnardos shop in Wexford. Barnardos, a leading children’s charity in Ireland, is encouraging the Wexford public to donate their unwanted gifts to its Wexford shop, located at 11A Selskar Street. Whether it’s clothes you won’t wear, gadgets you don’t need, or books that have already been read, all donations are welcomed and will go directly to supporting children and families in need across the country. The Wexford shop is open every day from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM & from 2-5pm on Sundays. By donating your unwanted gifts, you’ll help Barnardos raise essential funds for their work, which supports over 35,000 children and families annually in 56 service locations across Ireland. Speaking to South East Radio News Colette Miller, Barnardos Retail Shops Manager, highlighted the importance of these donations, “We all know the feeling of receiving Christmas presents that we don’t really want or need and they end up lying around the house. Instead of leaving them clogging our cupboards, take them down to your local Barnardos shop, where we will happily find someone to put them to good use. The funds raised from these donations go directly towards our work, helping children when they need it most.” For more information about donations or to learn more about Barnardos' work, visit the Barnardos website (https://www.barnardos.ie/) .
