DONNELLY QUITS One of the founding leaders of the Social Democrats has left the party. Stephen Donnelly - who's a TD for Wicklow - was leader alongside Roisín Shortall and Catherine Murphy since the party was founded last year. In a statement, he said that some partnerships 'simply don't work'. The Social Democrats say they are surprised that he's decided to walk away from the project
