Gardai are appealing for witnesses to two fatal shootings in Dublin last night. Gardai last night arrested a man after a woman in her late 60's was shot dead at a house in Killinarden in Tallaght yesterday afternoon. A second woman, in her mid 30's received non-life threatening gunshot injuries during the attack. She's being treated at Tallaght hospital. Just a few hours later, in an unrelated incident, a man in his forties was shot dead in the Lucan area of Dublin. And Gardai are also appealing for witnesses to the shooting at a house on Earlsfort View which happened at 7 o'clock last night. Newspapers are reporting that there may be a link with last week's shooting of John Gilligan.
