14 villages and small towns in Wexford are set to receive a major financial boost under a new renewal scheme.
Over 1.15 million euro will be allocated to areas such as Bunclody, Kilineran and Our Lady's Island to help develop and enhance living conditions. The 2017 Town and Village Renewal Scheme was set up in April and is aiming to improve life in rural Ireland. Minister Paul Kehoe has welcomed the funding saying it will go a long way to boosting local facilities in Wexford.
