A quarter of a million euro is being spent on the Dunbrody Famine Ship in New Ross.
The ship has gone into drydock and is getting its first major makeover in seven years. 70,000 visitors came to New Ross last year for the Dunbrody experience. Chairman of New Ross Municipal District Council Willie Fitzharris says the board is sourcing the cost of the upgrade.
