New Ross Community Hospital is to receive €75,000 in government funding.
The money is coming through the Dormant Accounts Fund which is offered by the Department of Arts Heritage and Rural Affairs. The aim of the funding is to support social enterprises that provide services to people in rural areas. The announcement has been welcomed by Minister of State of Paul Kehoe. Meanwhile Courtown Harbour is to receive funding of €112,000 for dredging works.
