Edcuation on farm safety is essential - kent

Education in Farm Safety is an essential component in the reduction of accidents on farms.

That's the view of Wexford farmer and President of the Irish Cattle and Sheepfarmers Association Patrick Kent. He was commenting as a farm continues to be one of the most dangerous workplaces currently and blames some of it on the pressure farmers themselves are under. Patrick Kent says we need to begin with a change in habits and education.
