It comes after the CSO released figures showing that over 16% of people in Ireland are at risk of poverty. Single Parent families are most at risk with 1 in 3 at risk of poverty. Wexford SVP say collections right across the county around Christmas were incredible but more needs to be done. Ben Doyle Area President for the Wexford Area, believes that education is key to breaking the poverty cycle.
