Efforts intensify to stop no deal brexit

Opposition MPs have decided to work together to try to stop the UK from leaving the EU without an agreement.

At a meeting organised by Jeremy Corbyn, they concluded one possible way to avoid a no-deal is by passing legislation in parliament. The British Labour leader has also written to 116 Tory and independent MPs asking them to join his efforts.
