Enniscorthy flood relief scheme will go ahead
Concerns were raised at last night's town council meeting in Enniscorthy that the planned flood relief scheme for the town would not go ahead. Councillor Paddy Kavanagh confirmed that the programme will proceed this afternoon. That's after he spoke with Government Chief Whip Paul Kehoe and the Minister responsible for the Office of Public Works Brian Hayes - who confirmed the 40 million euro programme will go ahead.
